So, Here are 5 essentials for Beginners that helped me on my journey.

1. Before you begin, research. Learn the terms, watch videos to get a visual of the concepts, learn the names of the tools you'll use, search the costs of tools, fabric, and equipment. This way you're not going in completely Dumbstruck.

b. Pins or clips

c. fabric scissors, paper scissors, or rotary cutter

3. Patterns. Try starting your journey using sewing patterns. once you learn the concept, you'll be able to start drafting your own patterns. There are free patterns available through a simple google search, or you can buy them from a craft store, or online PDF patterns to print at home.

4. Create your creative space. Where you Sew is also so important. create your vibe. Make sure it's a neat place where you can spend hours and hours of uninterrupted time because sewing projects can last all day ! you'll need lots of table space for fabric cutting so keep that in mind.

5. Prayer and patience. Sewing can be extremely stressful, but it doesn't have to be. Starting out, remind yourself that it doesn't have to be perfect! it WILL get better. God will bless the work of your hands. So if your project isn't working out take a break and come back to it later. always try again.
